The Urgent Response Fund was established to support tamariki who have low attendance and/or low self esteem/wellbeing post lockdown and COVID related. I know of some schools wondering why they
are missing out on URF.
As the name suggests, the funding is for urgent response. It is not for sustaining current or existing programmes or for aspects that could be covered by other funding streams, eg: IRF.
